60 minute, one-on-one strategy work session via Zoom. Together, we’ll outline your project goals to gain clarity on your ideal audience, competitor landscape and brand traits. Presentation of moodboard visual examples for feedback. This research phase ensures we have complete agreement and alignment on the visual direction before we start designing.

The first impression of your company’s visual identity. After completing research and crafting a direction with you, 2-3 unique logo concepts will be presented. Each logo concept includes various orientations and will be applied to mock products to experience real world applications such as print, signage and web. The selected logo includes two rounds of revisions. Files are prepared for you from print to web. You will have all the intellectual property usage rights.

Specifications for the colors in your logo including Pantone, CMYK, RGB and hexadecimal codes.

Recommendations for brand fonts and guidance for pairing them.

Graphic shapes, patterns, custom lineart that aligns with your brand’s visual theme. Applied to mockup applications to demonstrate how they can be used for your brand.

A multi-page document containing guidelines for the entire brand identity system: logo usage, color palette, typography, graphic elements, brand marketing materials and common errors. Two rounds of revisions to refine layout, style, and structure. A final high-res PDF will be delivered.

Stock photography will not stand out in today’s visually-focused platforms. We offer a custom photoshoot whether you have a service-based or product-based business. You will have complete intellectual rights to use your images for future print and social media usage.

Photos will be edited and optimized for faster website loading time. Image metadata and keywords will be embedded into each photo. All images will be renamed using keywords to enhance SEO on your website.

As the purchaser, you will have exclusive, unlimited use and reproduction license on the designs we create for you. This means you own your logo after the payment terms are met. As an industry standard, we retain ownership of our designs and reserve the right to use them in our portfolios (which is totally normal).

This is dependent on the client and the relationship we have developed. With our trusted partners, payments are typically made 100% upfront. When working with new projects or large engagements, we can structure payment to be 75/25 or 50/25/25.

Yes, we have a network of print partners online, local commercial printers in Chicago and nationwide partners to help solve your print needs. We’ll manage the entire process, obtain quotes and take your project to the finish line. You’ll pay the printer directly.

Of course! 50% of my clients are not local, so we have a ton of experience managing projects with different time zones. I’ve also built quality print partners nationwide.

If this is the case, we would recommend Fiverr — they can execute your idea using design software. We bring strategic thinking and design excellence to each project and we are not the right fit.

Because I don’t want to waste your time. Yes, I know there are designers who charge $300 for a logo, but I’m not one of them. I want to make sure we are on the same page and work within a budget to scope out the deliverables that will get you the most return of investment.

Client shall have sole responsibility for ensuring that trademark do not infringe the rights of third parties. Clients should seek a legal advisor to file their business name and logo trademark through the USPTO.

Before hiring a designer or agency, please do your due diligence on the name of your business. Research to see if the same business name has already been taken in your industry. Check for existing websites, social media handles and USPTO to ensure your business name is not used by another business. It’s important to have alternative options available and also talk to your legal advisor — they have special software to obtain trademark clearance.

Typically, the scope of work will state three rounds of revisions. Any revisions beyond the scope can be completed with an hourly rate.

We use Squarespace as our platform. We've tried other platforms such as Wordpress and Wix but learned that Squarespace to be the most business-friendly, easy to use and affordable.

Once the website is approved by you, the final payment will be collected and we transfer the ownership of your website to you.

You bet! When the project is complete, we can discuss how much support you will need in the next 3 months, 6 months or the year — so you can stay focus on your customers.

Prior to transferring the website ownership, we will have a 1-hr “How To” training so you will be empowered to make future photo and text changes.

It’s an easy domain transfer if you have purchased a domain from GoDaddy or another domain company. It typically takes 5-7 business days (sometimes more) for the domain transfer process to complete.
